This comes as absolutely no surprise -- a SoCal prep getting and accepting a PAC-10 offer over all other entreaties is par for the course.
6-8 Derrick Williams of La Mirada High has decided to attend USC. Nevada got a visit from him which is a moral victory but we can't imagine Mark Fox and Company truly ever expected this kid would decide on Reno.

Derrick Williams (D WILL) is going to do great at USC. His size, adversity, and knowledge of the game is exceptional. I had the enjoyment of playing with this kid on travel ball for La Mirada Red Storm. I am looking forward for him to make a huge impact on USC's game.
