This can't end well

Just when it looked like New Mexico State was loaded (not in the mind-altering sense mind you) and ready to reach out beyond the WAC and do some national damage, this happens:

LAS CRUCES - An embattled Aggie basketball player was again arrested this weekend.

Jahmar Young, a New Mexico State University guard, was charged Sunday by Las Cruces Police with battery on a peace officer. Details of the incident were not immediately available...

Okay, it's time for Young to turn pro although this incident isn't exactly a stock-raiser for his draft status. Maybe it would be better said this way: it's time for his leaving Las Cruces.
