A few more numbers to ponder

* How does Idaho win when Jeff Ledbetter shoots 3-14?

* This is telling: points in the paint -- USU 26, ID 30

* Don Verlin's squad was whistled for just 14 turnovers

* Idaho shoots 10 more free throws than USU

* Tai Wesley obviously was affected by the broken nose -- when was the last time he shot a single free throw in a game?

* Wesley also totaled six turnovers

* Not a number but PTW still says Kyle Barone has the potential to make major money down the line if he can finally add weight and strength. Plus, Brandon Wiley was missed last season and it will be the same next season. He's not the Vandal MVP but what he provides will be very hard to replace.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
