AW Prince saves us from a shutout (pardon the mixed sports metaphor) with a look at a 2012 point who already has an offer from the Wolf Pack, plus a couple more items.

Actually there is one more item. Marek Warszawski's column in the Fresno Bee yesterday contains an itme about the next Fresno State coach needing to establish a program identity. Maybe so but winning enough will suffice. Former Bulldog mentor Boyd Grant certaining did both as did Tark although the latter made it a trifecta with too much baggage accumulation.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
