After missing the first 21 games of the men's college basketball season, New Mexico State redshirt sophomore forward Troy Gillenwater was declared eligible by the NCAA late Tuesday afternoon.

NMSU Athletics Director McKinley Boston said the decision was effective immediately.

According to a release issued by the university, Gillenwater will make his first appearance of the season on Saturday against San Jose State at the Pan American Center...
