Two links on Denver basketball

These reads are so interesting, they deserved a separate post:

* Pat Graham profiles Chase Hallum, who almost was forced to forsake basketball due to injury.

* Ken Reed looks at the many components of Coach Joe Scott's system. A snippet:

“Right now, we’re playing well because we don’t really have any individual egos. We have one collective ego. Every guy knows their teammates are going to pass them the ball if they get to the right place at the right time.”
You think that should happen but it's never a given when individual 'stars' are thrown together on a 13-person team. The joy, whether coach, player or fan, is when it does.
