It isn't really WAC basketball related but we loved this Chris Murray tweet from his Twitter account:
"I'm at the SLC airport and they have a store called "Natural Snacks," at which they sell gummy worms. Can I plant a gummy worm tree?"
Amen. Words have been eviscerated of meaning in pursuit of the dollar/yen/ruble/pound et al. This is but a miniature example but when you stand for nothing there's no point in remaining upright.

We had a vision last night -- it was an ad placed in the Las Cruces Sun-News and on EBay:
FOR SALE
Never-used rail
Purchased it when sure it was absolutely necessary
Can be utilized to run head basketball coaches out of town
Available to the highest bidder or in exchange for hopefully easily-digestible crow

Plus, Jeff Portnoy has another column posted about Hawaii basketball.
