UH offers a prep point

Josh Gershon tweeted this: "Hawaii offered 2012 Alemany PG Max Guercy, per coach Trey Meeks"

Here's an ESPN evaluation on the 5-foot-8 point.

Guercy also has a scholarship offer from Hartford.

On the UH roster, Miah Ostrowski is departing, Bobby Miles will be a junior next season, Jace tavita a senior and Shaq Stokes a sophomore.

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
