SeldomSceneSmith offers some great player updates

All credit goes to SeldomSeenSmith, a longtime poster at the Scout Utah State site message board, for the following updates and information.

*** Greg Allen, former Idaho recruit who signed with Creighton, didn't qualify and enrolled at Navarro JC in Texas. (our little addition: Louisiana Tech just landed point DeAndre Brown out of Navarro)

*** Jordan Ellis, PG from Medford OR, who was looked at by USU but not offered, will be at Grayson County JC. He'll be playing with ex Aggie PG Deremy Geiger.

*** Ex-Nevada player Ahyaro Phillips of gun fame, has enrolled at Lamar State JC in Port Arthur, Texas.

*** Kyle Tresnak, 6'9" PF from Scottsdale AZ, who was looked at by USU, but not offered, has committed to Weber State of the Big Sky.

*** Two players from Minnesota that the Aggies looked at while James Ware (from Minnesota) was an assistant two years ago, have switched JCs. Sedrick McBounds has transferred from Western Nebraska to Paris JC in Texas. Tarell Clark has transferred from Western Nebraska to Williston State JC. I doubt if USU is still interested in either.
