Jason Groves stays home with pick #6

Jason Groves didn't have to look far for his sixth selection in the Top 10 WAC talents -- go here.

This has to mean Coach Marvin Menzies will have three players in the rankings. So does this translate into New Mexico State being atop the WAC in pre-season predictions?

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
