Some entity should be compensating him for his efforts and yes, PTW tremendously appreciates all the WAC hoops scribes.

Hey -- PTW is the best, I am not going to lie, but going to have to call bullshit on your hype of that clown Sonnenberg! Typical Utah homer made some offensive comments after NMSU spanked his squad. Specifically, I am referring to this:
"In the past, Utah State had players who were so skilled, precise and well-coached they could basically outsmart whatever athletic advantage NMSU had. I'd liken it to something like complex military strategy going against a run-of-the-mill street gang who happened to have a few big, fancy weapons. That doesn't really work though with a lesser experienced USU team, and it showed through tonight."
What Sonnenberg is essentially saying is that Utah State's well-coached 23yo white men, who are obviously so much smarter than the street gang thugs at NMSU that happen to have a few extremely talented thugs (who happen to be made up entirely of black athletes and are coached by a black man).
This type of writing is veiled racism and, more importantly, is fundamentally untrue garbage. Look at team GPA of the NMSU roster, look at the starting point guard in graduate school - there has only been one less-than-model student-athlete on this year's NMSU team and he is no longer on the team.
My complaints about that sorry USU homer aside, keep up the good work at PTW! Great blog!
