LA TECH signs another

Kerry Rupp worked his Canadian connection once again and is bringing in another point guard to Ruston. LA TECH fans will definitely need to buy a program when attending next season's game as very, very few names and faces will be recognizable:

RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech head coach Kerry Rupp announced the addition of point guard Juevol Myles of Ontario, Canada, putting the final touch on one of the top recruiting classes in recent school history.

“This is a terrific late signee,” Rupp said. “(Associate head coach) Nikita Johnson and my staff did a great job with the recruitment of Juevol. He was being looked at by some very good basketball schools, and I couldn’t be more excited to have him come to Tech. He is a very tough, talented and committed player who enjoys doing all the little things like defending, rebounding down and making plays to his teammates, but what impresses me the most is his tremendous leadership ability and willingness to do whatever it takes to win.”

Myles is a 6’1”, 190 lbs pure point guard that led the Pickering High School Trojans in Ajax, Ontario, to a 70-2 record and a Canadian Provincial and national title after averaging 13 points and eight assists per game. Myles also played on the Canadian Junior National Team and played AAU basketball with current Bulldog freshman Olu Ashaolu...
