New Mexico State men's basketball coach Marvin Menzies will get an early preview of what his fourth team will look like.
The Aggies are able to hold 10 practices before they leave for an eight-day tour of Canada Aug. 8-16.
"(Players) are excited about the opportunity to take an early trip," Menzies said. "It's something that we can use in the early portion of the season to build on. They are talking about it a lot and looking forward to it."
Menzies said every player on the roster is expected to practice with incoming freshman Renaldo Dixon the only question mark as he awaits clearance by the NCAA...

What are the Aggies looking for from Canada tour
The Aggies started practicing over the weekend for a Canada Tour that seems like they have six games in four days scheduled so far.
This team has a number of things going for it even if they couldn't practice until October, but getting a head start is important for any club. I think there are four main things the Aggies would like to have figured out before the semester starts...
