From Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star:
"The Indiana Pacers will have another body to compete for the vacant starting power forward spot when training camp starts next week. Forward Tyler Hansbrough was given a doctor's clearance to take part in contact drills Thursday after dealing with vertigo for nearly nine months. Hansbrough, the Pacers' 2009 first-round pick, had been limited to non-contact drills since early July. Hansbrough was originally injured in a game at Boston in December. He averaged 8.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in 29 games last season. 'It's probably one of the toughest things I've ever had to go through,' Hansbrough said earlier this week. Hansbrough will compete with Josh McRoberts, Jeff Foster, Solomon Jones and possibly Magnum Rolle for the starting power forward spot, which became available when veteran Troy Murphy was traded to New Jersey last month."
