We have often asked: does college football feed basketball?
PTW still believes a prospect's choosing ultimately comes down to many other more important factors but gridiron success is something most basketball coaches at the same address will gladly accept. But then there are the football schools and programs that overshadow their college hoops counterparts.
Nevada's David Carter says the Wolf Pack's winning and ranking is helping his program via increased access. Chris Murray has that covered and more here. Plus, look for the situation that Carter has no 2011 schollies to offer to change. Odds are that someone wi;l be upset by his role or playing time and decide to depart, what with so many newcomers on board in Reno.
