* New Mexico 74, (host) Idaho 69
It was tied at 44 with 11:49 remaining

* (host) Boise State is leading LA TECH 60-39 with 7:42 remaining
It was BSU 36, LA TECH 14 at halftime

* (host) Fresno State is leading San Jose State 33-29 at the half

+++ Responding to the comment posted here, my very bad. Not sure why I typed that but there's no excuse for such a mistake.

Anonymous said...: Love your blog, Kevin...but PLEASE don't forget to add the "State" after "New Mexico" when listing an NMSU score again. That's a big no-no 'round these parts. We ain't no stinkin' Lobos. LOL.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
