Friday's WAC-aroo

Yes, it was at home but nothing can dim short-handed (hey, Bill Amis remains out) Hawaii's sparkling victory over soon-to-be PAC-12 member Utah last night. Dayton Morinaga leads us off with a game report, photos and video, Brian McInnis is here plus here with a Gib Arnold Q-and-A after the Florida State game and Jeff Portnoy looks back at the first night of action and also predicts the outcome of the Hawaii - Utah matchup.

+++++

Sam Wasson writes about New Mexico State's fall at home to St. Mary's plus Bleed Crimson's 25 game photos are here. Jason Groves serves up his game report and notes that Trpy Gillenwater, Hamidu Rhaman and Wendell McKines all were absent. Jason also offers a post-game blog entry.

+++++

Utah State made it a tourney trifecta as Weston Mangum initiates our coverage of Utah State bulldozing of Troy last night -- plus 41 game photos can be found here. Coverage by Tony Jones, Shawn Harrison and Kraig Williams can be read by clicking on their respective names.

Craig Hislop measures the Aggies prior to WAC play beginning.

+++++

Joe Santoro has a pair of Wolf Pack basketball items in his column today.

+++++

Ethan Conley has a feature on frosh backcourter Kenyon McNeaill who looks to be the frontrunner for WAC Freshman of the Year. Anyone else with a nominee?
