Daequon Montreal.to Boise State

According to the Scout site BroncoCountry.com, 6-8 forward Daequon Montreal out of the College of Southern Idaho, has decided to join Greg Graham's program in Boise. A Scout subscription is needed to access the story.

Here's a "The Kennel Report" assessment of Montreal via Eric Larsen, the beat reporter who covered CSI's games.

Montreal sounds like a very good get for Boise, one who should prosper in in Greg Graham's system.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
