The Tuesday a.m. WAC pickins' are a bit slim

Douglas Benton at NorCalPreps offers some player evaluations from the Rumble In The Bay tournament. Go here and a sub is required.

5-foot-10 Oakland (CA) High backcourter T.J. Taylor is mentioned with an offer from Boise State and interest from Fresno State and New Mexico State, among many others.

Castro (CA) Valley 6-foot-6 wing Juan Anderson has an offer from Utah State and several others, with a list of multiple suitors. We say he is PAC-10 bound if he so chooses.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
