A WAC POY difference of opinion

Received this from Dave Wadley last Thursday:

"...I am a Utah State fan and want to show you why Tai Wesley is the POY and not Adrian Oliver.
Oliver averages 34.6 minutes a game (24.3 Points, 460 2 pt shots, 127 3 pt shots and 183 free throws).

Wesley averages 29 minutes a game (14.7 points, 258 2 pt shots, 6 3 pt shots and 179 free throws).

If Wesley who shoots 59.7% shot 460 times like Oliver, he would average 25.7 points per game on 2 point baskets. Not only would he score more but he is a more complete player getting 7.9 rebounds to 5.5 per game in 5 less minutes a game.

No one in college basketball has 1200 Points, 500 rebounds, 200 assists and 100 blocks combined for a career other than Tai Wesley and he plays defense not unlike Oliver who is just a shooter.

Put Adrian Oliver on the Aggies, they win fewer games.  Put Tai Wesley on the Spartans, they win 5-7 more games. Tai plays every game hurt or not, does Adrian?
Adrian Oliver is Scorer of the year, but Tai Wesley is Player of the Year.

Tai is the best player on the best by far team at least a 5 game lead. Adrian's team is 9 games behind and could be more."
Dave then correctly called Brian Green's inclusion of the All-WAC second team.
