Imagine Condoleeza Rice on the recruiting trail

The Recruit Scoop's Alex Kline just tweeted this:

"While on an unofficial visit to Stanford, 2012 PF Landen Lucas of Findlay Prep (NV) met Cardinal alum & politician, Condoleezza Rice"

Left out because the limit on the numbers of characters per tweet was what she said as he was leaving her office: "Young man, you better come to Stanford because we don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud."

Word is Lucas smiled at Rice but looked to his chaperone once the office door was closed and mouthed 'WTF?'

Oh are we going to be in trouble for this one.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
