Man, Mel Grussing is everywhere. We're picturing MG video cameras and mics all over the Antelope Valley College athletics department because nothing escapes his attention.
The latest is guard Julius Bilbrew, a former Fresno State signee, joining up with Coach John Taylor's AVC posse. It's a program having three sophomores already heading to D-1 next season, with two talents yet to land.
What's that line? We don't rebuild, we restock. How's that for a mantra? C'mon put it on the marquee in Palmdale.

Any WAC teams looking at Jason Johnson?
From Mel Grussing comes a feature on Antelope Valley College's top tier backcourters. The reason why we are posting it here is because Jason Johnson was connected earlier with Idaho so it wouldn't be surprising if some of the other WAC teams would now be interested in him. What's a coincidence is that the point Gomez was recruited last year by the Vandals too.

Hawaii interested in an Antelope Valley College backcourter
Mel Grussing (do bookmark his fan site, the best JC one in the nation) includes a note on Hawaii corresponding with a sharpshooting guard at Antelope Valley College.

Kyisean Reed sits
At his one-and-only site (hint, hint, can others try to duplicate for their favorite teams?), Melvin Grussing has the details and a telling headline on Utah State signee Kyisean Reed missing the latest Antelope Valley College game due to behavioral reasons.
Stew Morrill has sent players home from road trips for what was probably less antics so the young man better get such out of his system now or he'll face quite the rude awakening in Logan.
