Monday's report on Sunday's games, plus more

Troy was blitzed (if we can employ a cross sports term) by Louisiana Tech 70-46 in Chattanooga. There was no report regarding the utilization of a horse and a sizable amount of wood in the matchup.

Cordarius Johnson produced 16 points in 20 minutes and Raheem Appleby produced 15. Point Kenneth Smith added just one point but passed for seven assists with nary a turnover for the Bulldogs. Troy shot but 30% for the game.

Host Niagara finished with 86 points to New Mexico State's 83 in a contest featuring the tale of two halves. The Aggies led 48-32 after the initial 20 minutes but Niagara exploded for 54 second half points. NMSU also committed 24 TOs.

Daniel Mullings enjoyed 26 points and seven boards during the game for Coach Marvin Menzies's squad. Plus, Chili Nephawe posted a 14/10 double-double in what was hopefully a breakout game for the junior.

Louisiana Tech and Southeast Missouri State square off tonight in Chattanooga. Essentially three road games in a row will test any team's early season conditioning so let's see who prevails.
