Sunday's WAC, make that Utah State, roundup

Utah State had no trouble last night with Simon Fraser to the tune of 92-56. Kraig Williams and Kyle Goon were present and tweeted throughout the game.

Game reports: Doug Hoffman, Kyle Goon, Kyle Haywood and Matt Sonnenberg. Curtis Ripplinger serves up a bevy of game photos.

Also, treesap32 has posted the whereabouts of Brockeith Pane at the USU Fans Stew's Spectrum MB.

As a bonus, Utah State fans will recall the name Norvell Arnold - he's now at Adams State (CO) and scored 18 points in 21 minutes against Northern Arizona last night, no rebounds and no assists. The 6-foot-5 junior shot 6-13 overall, 4-7 from long distance.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
