Wednesday's roundup: one game report & a handful of previews

It was Denver in the Magnolia State versus Southern Mississippi last night. No word if Colonel Mustard and a candlestick were sighted but the Pioneers fell 61-50. The score was 23-15 at the half in favor of the Magnolians. Royce O'Neale's career high 23 points (5-11 from long distance) paced Coach Joe Scott's squad. O'Neale also captured six rebounds. Chris Udofia scored six points (3-6 shooting) but contributed five steals, four assists and three blocked shots. UD shot 33% to 50% for Southern Mississippi plus went to the foul line but six times.
