Monday's world of WAC hoops

For those with excellent longterm memories, 2012 Canadian backcourter Martin Dixon-Green is being carefully watched by New Mexico State alongside many others. Washington, Connecticut, Boston College and Oklahoma have already offered.

In the same vein, Hawaii is eyeing LA Trade Tech three man 6-foot-6 sophomore Martin Whitmore, who apparently sat out last season.

Here is an older article on Whitmore when he was playing at Orange Coast College.

In 29 games in the 2008-2009 season with OCC, Whitmore averaged 15.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, shooting .47%, 32% and 64% respectively. He is a particularly good offensive boarder.

Mark Littlefield @ Silver and Blue Sports  offers video of the Nevada - Seattle Pacific game (a sub is required).

Jason Groves has posted a feature on unsung Hernst Laroche. Jason also blogged a lengthy article on what to watch for in NMSU's exhibition game tonight.

Brian McInnis at his Court Sense blog provides his take on UH's exhibition victory.

Here is an interesting 'numbers' site on Hawaii hoops.
