Two items from Chris Murray

Chris Murray has a pair of posts up. One covers the new home of former Wolf Pack point Derrell Conner. He'll be playing for former Boise State assistant Shaun Vandiver. The second is about a Nevada recruiting prospect who decided to cast his lot with Wyoming. PTW witnessed this player last week in Las Vegas -- he had some nice moments but PT was going to be minimal in Reno 2011. In fact a redshirt season would have been most appropriate so it's understandable why Laramie was the choice.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
