Tuesday's WAC roundup

San Jose State University welcomes Houston -- an 81-76 winner over Florida A&M in its initial game -- tonight in the Spartan home opener. From that Houston - FAM contest:

"...Against the Rattlers, the Houston frontcourt of senior Leon Gibson and sophomore TaShawn Thomas combined for 31 points and 30 rebounds in the first meeting between the two teams. Gibson, the lone senior among the 2012-13 Cougars, scored a career-high 20 points and added 10 rebounds for the 10th double-double of his career.
