Kevin Kaspar to Western Kentucky

Findlay Prep point Kevin Kaspar recently tripped to Fresno State but ultimately decided to cast his lost with Western Kentucky.

Fresno State also has a second recruit on campus

KOFan at the Save Mart Center MB (the BarkBoard site) has posted that Findlay Prep point Kevin Kaspar is in Fresno this weekend.

Here is an Alex Schwartz-penned March 30 article on Kaspar but strangely with no Fresno State mention. But that can probably be attributed to the recent hiring of Rodney Terry as head coach at FSU.

At Yahoo sports, Kaspar is listed as having an offer from the Bulldogs and tripping earlier this month to Northern Illinois and last weekend to Western Kentucky.

Hawaii has some connection to Kaspar at one point.

Alex Schwartz has the latest on Finlay Prep point Kevin Kaspar and there are, at this point, no WAC teams connected to his recruitment. Hawaii (and maybe) Utah State had been previously associated with Kaspar.

Kevin Kaspar -- UH recruiting target

In the Better-Late-Than-Never-Department, 6-foot-1 Turkish point Kevin Kaspar, currently attending Findlay Prep in Las Vegas, is being connected to Hawaii recruiting.

On November 29, ESPN's Reggie Rankin described Kaspar thusly: "...is a tough-minded player who can find open teammates and knock down shots with range to the arc on a consistent basis. Kaspar has continued to improve and is currently hearing from BYU, San Diego State, Hawaii and Illinois-Chicago."

In a second November 2010 article, Dustin Lynott wrote: "Kaspar showed flashes of hard nose defense, ball handling ability, and a solid basketball IQ."

In another about a game this season against IMG Academy, Drew Ebanks offered: "Unsigned point guard Kevin Kaspar had 6 on 2 for 2 from 3, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals."
