Fresno State also has a second recruit on campus

KOFan at the Save Mart Center MB (the BarkBoard site) has posted that Findlay Prep point Kevin Kaspar is in Fresno this weekend.

Here is an Alex Schwartz-penned March 30 article on Kaspar but strangely with no Fresno State mention. But that can probably be attributed to the recent hiring of Rodney Terry as head coach at FSU.

At Yahoo sports, Kaspar is listed as having an offer from the Bulldogs and tripping earlier this month to Northern Illinois and last weekend to Western Kentucky.

Hawaii has some connection to Kaspar at one point.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
