Chris Murray/Reno Gazette-Journal has a load of information on K.C. Ross-Miller, a Nevada recruiting target out of Texas who visited Reno over the weekend. He's a point.

Utah State likes what a pair of freshman have shown so far, per Shawn Harrison of the Herald Journal. Both guys sound like they need to gain that freshman 15 as quick as possible.

Nick Jezierny/Idaho Statesman provides information on Boise State's exhibition game but, more importantly, descriptions on the Bronco newcomers. There's also mention of redshirts -- don't miss that.

Sam Wasson completes his preview of New Mexico State with a post on the Aggie centers.

Chris Murray offers an in-depth preview of Idaho here. He sees a fourth-place finish.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
