Hey, the Butler did it! Plus, a few Sunday WAC links

Yes, the Butler did it in Lucas Oil Stadium with defense. How does a team with possibly zero NBA talents -- time will tell on Gordon Hayward -- handle the best from the Big 10? Wow! The Bulldogs showed zero signs of bright lights/big stage fright, demonstrating they deserved their lofty perch from the opening tip.

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
