Your Tuesday WAC links

Sam Wasson offers the name and background of a new (to us) New Mexico State basketball recruit.

One of the questions most Aggie basketball fans are asking is who is going to replace Jonathan Gibson next season? We don't know the answer, in fact, nobody will know the answer for sure until Signing Day. However...

Go here for the remainder (scroll down to the third item). Here's a guarantee: the kid's name is going to be part of a 1,001 cute leads in articles about him.

What is also interesting is that Nevada is mentioned in the article as having/had interest in another player on the team, a three-point shooter.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
