LT falls to Arkansas Little Rock

Louisiana Tech had the first half lead but eventually fell behind and lost to host Arkansas Little Rock 74-65. DeAndre Brown led the Bulldogs with 26 points and four assists. ALR shot twice the number of free throws (38) as LT did. Here's a game report.

How does a team (ALR) shoot 15% in the initial half and then 70% in the second 20 minutes? Conversely, how does a squad (LT) defend so well and the fall apart?

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
