Louisiana Tech best Seattle 85-72 tonight as part of the 2K Sports Classic in Irvine, CA. The Chieftains had no answer for Olu Ashaolu who posted a double-double of 22/11. The junior was also credited with three assists against just one turnover.
DeAndre Brown poured in 18 points but with seven turnovers while Brandon Gibson and Kenyon McNeaill scored 13 apiece.
Ashaolou, Brown, Gibson, McNeaill and J.L. Lewis made up the Bulldog starting five.
Mark McLaughlin, a former Nevada commit now at Seattle, scored 10 points in 24 minutes, going 5-14 from the floor.
