Utah State falls short

Utah State led late -- 71-69 at the 3:40 mark -- but Brigham Young ultimately pulled it out, winning 78-72 at home.

The Aggies shot 49% overall, 58% on 12 trey attempts but just 57% from the foul line, 15-26.

Tai Wesley led in scoring with 19 and Brian Green contributed 17, shooting 9-11 and 6-7 from the floor respectively. Brockeith Pane went 2-12.

Jimmer Fredette topped BYU with 21 points, shooting 8-21 (5-14 from long range). The Cougars went 7-27 on threes.

Tyler Newbold fouled out but we're not sure when.

It was tied at 33 after the first 20 minutes.
