New Mexico State falls to USC

With two western teams back east and opposing each other on a neutral basketball court, it was the Trojans preventing the Aggies from succeeding by a 19-point margin, 80-61.

Here's an early game report from NMSU athletics. Here's the box score.

Two quick notes: Troy Gillenwater played just eight minutes and New Mexico State shot 36%.

Jason Groves has a blog post up about the game including Gillenwater's limited PT.
