The Nevada basketball team is waiting for news today about the extent of the right shoulder injury that leading scorer Marcelus Kemp suffered Saturday.

Kemp was injured near the end of the 70-66 loss at Pacific.

"He was sore today," Nevada coach Mark Fox said Sunday. "He has some range of motion, but will be examined tomorrow (today). It could have been worse. We'll find out for sure tomorrow."

Kemp, who is averaging 18.5 points per game, led the Wolf Pack with 20 points against Pacific.

The Pack came out of the game at Stockton, Calif., with a couple of walking wounded.

"Matt LaGrone will be examined for a broken nose," Fox said. "We're not sure if it's broken or not. Last night, there was a thought it might be. It's extremely swollen today. We'll find out for sure tomorrow."
