Two of these Utah State signee names are new to us

It was already a known that Stew Morrill was going to sign a couple of big men during the open period last month but the official announcement that was finally made had a recruiting class totaling four new players: a prep center going on his mission next year, a junior college center, a junior college shooting guard and a prep point:

It's been a month since basketball players could sign National Letters of Intent, but the Aggie men were in the middle of playing an NBA-like schedule.

That doesn't mean Utah State wasn't busy recruiting for the future. It just took a while to officially make any announcements. That came Wednesday morning.

While his team is busy wrapping up the fall semester with finals this week, Aggie head coach Stew Morrill released the names of four players who have signed with USU. The group includes two junior college players in Rich Sirju and Bryce Webster and two high school athletes in Jordan Stone and Deremy Geiger.

Sirju and Geiger are guards, while Webster and Stone are big men.
