Another Fresno State big man target

Just came across across another 'big' who Fresno State is watching.

6-9 Daymon Warren, formerly of El Cerrito High (Bay Area), is a fifth year student at the Worcester Academy in Massachusetts. But it's way too early to gauge true interest, from either sides in the equation, as Warren should be a April signee. Warren will need time and being a backup to top Bulldog recruit Greg Smith might be a good situation for him.

Here's an ESPN evaluation of Warren:

Warren has improved immensely over the past year (2007). He is still a bit stiff and mechanical, however, his footwork in the paint area has gotten better and his overall post skills are beginning to blossom. Warren is a solid athlete with decent bounce and quickness. He plays extremely hard at both ends and it's not a rarity to see him block a shot and finish strongly on the other end in the same sequence. In addition, he is a solid rebounder with an excellent pair of hands. His post skills have improved, but he still needs to bend his knees more often while posting up and continue to break the habit of bringing the ball down. His jump shot needs some polishing as well as he has a tendency to fling it instead of following through smoothly. As Warren continues to hone his skills he should find a home at the low-mid division one level due to his length and passion for the game.
