Idaho's Kyle Barone not eligible?

On the Idaho SCOUT site message board, it's noted that freshman big man Kyle Barone isn't eligible to play this season.

But keep in mind that nothing official has been announced.

If true, this actually may be of benefit to Barone in the long run. He's 6-10 but in major need of strength and weight so a year off (which may have taken place anyway as he was a redshirt candidate) will give him time to focus on building his body and learning the system without the waste of a year of eligibility.
