Greg Graham has a difficult decision to make before his Boise State men's basketball team opens its season Friday against Pacific University of Oregon.

The seventh-year coach must decide whether reserve point guard La'Shard Anderson will play this season or use a redshirt year. He's one of four players who could redshirt. Graham said Monday that freshman forward Tyler Young will use a redshirt year and junior forward Sean Imadiyi will not. That leaves Anderson and walk-on guard Justin Salzwedel with decisions to make.

"They've done well and it's something we've talked about with them," Graham said. "They'll talk about it with their folks and we'll talk about it with them again. We're trying to do what's best for them and best for us and make it fair for everybody."

Under NCAA rules, players can play in exhibition games before making a decision about redshirting. All the redshirt candidates played and scored in last week's exhibition win over Guelph...
