Any PTW commentary on Devonte Elliott's academic situation would be useless because we know nothing about his academic/test scores situation.

Having put that to bed, Jerry Evans is a different situation. There were a number of colleges very impressed with Evans' basketball skills and physical abilities but they demurred from pursuing him due to his cloudy eligibility status. The sense was that he wouldn't gain eligibility.

But hopefully, both will be in Reno come January.

Yes, such will ultimately make the Nevada men's basketball program better (more difficult to beat) but it also ups the WAC overall and that is a critical component in getting back to landing multiple teams in the Big Dance.
