Shawn Harrison offers an intriguing column on road play the first two weeks into the conference schedule. Plus, he provides a number of notes about USU's play and players.

From USU athletics: "For the second-straight week, Utah State's Tai Wesley is leading the nation in field goal shooting after making 8-of-10 shots in his last game, while Utah State is once again receiving votes in both polls.
Wesley, a 6-7, 240-pound forward from Provo, is currently shooting 66.7 percent from the field (84-126) to rank first in the nation. Wesley also ranks third in the Western Athletic Conference in rebounding (8.6), fourth in blocked shots (1.13), fifth in scoring (15.2), 11th in assists (2.69) and 15th in free throw shooting (.709)."
