New Mexico State has a shooter

Per Trevor Andershock , New Mexico State has secured the services of Matej Buovac, a 6-foot-5 catch-and-shoot prospect out of Croatia, by way of the Indiana prep ranks. Sounds like Coach Marvin Menzies has his designated trey shooter in hand.

He also visited Tulane and had an offer from UAB.

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
