"John Dawson (Clovis, New Mex./Clovis) owns an offer from Wyoming and interest from Baylor, Arizona, New Mexico State and New Mexico ... Dawson has a Rodney Stuckey-type body and he’ll be pursued by Mountain West teams for sure"

He's 6-foot-3, 185 pounds and a 2013 prospect.

Via Josh Gershon: "Hunter Myers listed scholarship offers from Nevada, U.C. Davis and Idaho. He's also hearing from California, Stanford, Gonzaga and Arizona State, as well as some Ivy League schools"

He's a 6-foot-6 2013 talent out of the Nevada prep ranks.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
