Two recruiting possibilities for Texas San Antonio

From Anthony Ray's Twitter account comes a pair of Texas San Antonio recruiting items:

* University of Utah transfer and former Westwind Prep and St. Mary's HS graduate George Matthews is leaning towards Texas-San Antonio

He's a 6-foot-5 wing.

and

* Former Basha HS product and South Florida transfer Blake Nash is considering Texas-San Antonio and Arizona State currently.

Nash is a 6-foot point

Both were very highly regarded coming out of post grad and community college respectively but each struggled in their initial seasons.

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
