We'll never know (so will St. John's bite or is that too high?) but was Hawaii going to succeed with a 5-foot-10 backcourter who performs best as a shooting guard? No knock on Shaq, his game is what it is. Maybe he'll transform into a pass-first QB, maybe not, but his present game is aim and fire and any coach interested in him has to embrace those terms and be prepared to utilize such.
