OREM — Early on, the Utah State students warned Utah Valley it couldn’t guard No. 55.

The Aggie big man certainly proved them right Saturday night at the McKay Center. Gary Wilkinson scored a career-high 29 points — missing only two shots on the night — as USU rolled to a 69-50 win against the Wolverines in front of 4,023 fans...

Exceptional offensive execution led to Hawaii's first blowout win of the season. A career-high 37 points from Roderick Flemings helped, too.

The Rainbow Warriors turned in a complete effort to beat Eastern Washington 75-55 last night at the Stan Sheriff Center. UH improved to 4-3 overall with its fourth straight home win.

Inclement weather led to a turnout of 2,906, a season-low for games played at 7 p.m. Absent regulars missed quite a performance.

Flemings scored 22 of Hawaii's 37 points in the second half, including 19 of the 'Bows' first 21 points, to put his team up 59-44. By then, all spunk had left the Eagles (6-3) of the Big Sky Conference...

Tech eases by Centenary

Just as they have for most of the season, the Centenary Gents proved a tough out for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday night in the CenturyTel Center. But in the end, Tech had too much size, talent and depth to let the Gents continue their recent dominance in the series.

Thanks to a strong second half, especially by senior Kyle Gibson (PTW NOTE: he is a junior), the Bulldogs ended a three-game losing skid to Centenary with a 77-71 victory. The win finally allowed Tech to complete a season sweep of its north Louisiana, I-20 foes in UL-Monroe, Grambling and Centenary...
