We've often though there was a not to exceed karma quotient at play -- Idaho basketball bathed in it last season, Vandal football in 2oo9-2010. It's more than likely because the BCS (them that has the gold, rules) consortium allows only excess karma to be filtered down to the tired, the poor, the huddled masses, the wretched refuse, the homeless and the tempest-tost.
